Impact Sprinklers

An Impact Sprinkler, sometimes called an impulse sprinkler, has a sprinkler head driven in a circular motion by the force of the outgoing water, which then pivots on a bearing on top of its threaded attachment nut. The features include a 360 degree angle, different styling from brass to plastic, spacing up to 50', and retractable features (goes into ground after use).

Misting Sprinklers

Misting Sprinklers function differently than any other sprinkler as it targets the whole plant, this includes leaves stems and root system. And with most plants this actually the desired method of irrigation.

Raised Sprinklers

The benefits of raised sprinklers is the mobility it provides as these type of sprinklers can easily be moved around. While the disadvantages are obvious as they don't retract into the ground and can be unattractive if not hidden. These type of sprinklers are most common among gardens, harvesting fields, and behind shrubs in a yard.

Popup Sprinklers

With yet another sprinkler system indicating what it does, pop-up sprinklers sit in the ground being unseen when not in use. These sprinklers are typicalally the most attractive as they allow the landscape to not be distracted from pipes or objects within the yard and of course present little hazard, due to tripping when not in use. When choosing popup sprinklers the height does play a huge role as for landscapes that aren't completely flat can prevent water from dispersing properly.
