Bahia Sod
Bahia can often be familiarized with another name, Pensacola grass. Bahia provides the least maintenance, works in acidic soils, very little to no watering, spreads quickly, and strongly disease resistant.

St. Augustine Sod
St. Augustine is found strongly in the southern regions of the U.S. and is extremely common throughout adult communities. Unlike bahia grass, St. Augustine requires consistent watering, ideally from an irrigation system, more vulnerable to pests/diseases, requires maintenance through fertilization and soil treatment. Although St. Augustine does do well in saline soil, outstretch weeds, tolerates moderate foot traffic and above all has a more aesthetics appeal.

Further zoysia doesn't grow nearly as fast as other grasses, thrives in the sun, grows in a variety of soil types, but does require fertilization, soil treatment and regular watering.
